Hans Buijs composed many studies with Rolf Hendriks.

He was for a long time secretary of Arves.

Hans Buijs in 2002 at an Arves event in the Max Euwe Centrum in Amsterdam.

Hans was a teacher of classical languages in secondary education at the Beekdal Lyceum in Arnhem.

 

With Rolf Hendriks he wrote a book with the Dutch title: "Spiegelen, Springen, Schuiven, Draaien" which is about corresponding squares.
