He made his debut in chess composition in 1966.

An author of 245 chess problems and studies.

He gained 123 distinctions: 30 prizes (13 first ones) and 37 honourable mentions. 8 of his compositions were published FIDE Albums (8 points).

Bronze team medalist of the World Chess Composition Tournament (1989-1992).

Three-time medalist of the Polish Championships in solving (silver in 1988 and 1989, bronze in 1986), a participant in the World Chess Solving Championships (198819892001).
