Selection of studies (one corrected) by

Adolf Herrmann Rudolf Ferdinand Kraemer

(Germany, Büdingen (Hessen) 23.03.1898 - 25.06.1972 Berlin).

Ado Kraemer created numerous compositions and collaborated frequently with Erich Zepler, with whom he formed a close friendship which still existed after the time of national socialism.

In 1952, they were both honorary members of the Schwalbe association, since they were commonly regarded as the two greatest composers living at that time.

About his studies:

Kramer was not a typical study composer.

He composed problematic ideas, especially with intersection point combinations.

He was one of the first who deal with the "black Indian" in a study.

Many of his chessproblems can be found at magazine Die Schwalbe here.

Also some information about him on ChesscomposersBlogspot and German Wikipedia

and specially at Rald Binnewirtz website where you may find more pictures of him and the many books he wrote about Chess.
