Jan Ševčík, chess player and endgame study composer, died after a hard illness. 
He composed over 100 studies, 25 awarded including 9 Prizes. 
He has written numerous articles, three fundamental brochures and led several chess columns. 
In recent years engaged in systematizing endgames.   
Honour his memory!
