He was born on the 2nd of September 1950 in Warsaw.

National master in chess composition (1984).

Six-time Polish Champion in solving.

He took part in the World Chess Solving Championships five times.

He gained his best result in 1978 (10th place).

A bronze medalist of the World Chess Composition Tournament (1989-1992).

An author of 50 chess compositions. He gained about 30 distinctions, in that 11 prizes (5 first ones).

Six of his compositions, including three studies, were published in the FIDE Albums (8 points).


He is a computer expert and worked as a systems analyst.

His activity in composition of studies began in 1978.

In 10 years he created about thirty studies, and at the same time was dedicated to composing problems.
