Alexander Petrovich Kuznetsov

Alexander Kuznetsov participated in the Great Patriotic War, during which he was seriously wounded.

He was a merchandiser by profession, but for many years he worked in the main library of the Soviet Union-Lenin's library.

He was engaged in landscaping the territory of the library

He was aspecialist in ornamental horticulture.
In the summer time he did not make studies, because he worked at his dacha.(He was an avid gardener!).
He led the department of studyes in the magazine "Chess in the USSR" in 1963-1971.
He compiled 300 studyes and 130 problems, and received 15 first prizes at competitions.
He loved collective creativity.Compiled more than 100 etudes together with Philip Semenovich Bondarenko!

Alexander Petrovich is my teacher (mentor), we have composed more than 20 studyes together.
He collected postage stamps and music records, his favorite singers were Enrico Caruso and Benjamino Gigli.
