William Timbrell Pierce

(England, 30.3.1839 - 5.1922)

Timbrell Pierce (he used to use his second name) was a Problem composer and did do a lot of analysing together with his brother James.

This (reprint) book they published in 1873.

He is also famous because of an aggressive variation in the Vienna opening which bares his name.
